Oussama Batouche
Data Scientist | PhD Candidate | AI for Healthcare
Oussama Batouche is a data scientist at HUCC and a PhD candidate at the University of Helsinki. His work focuses on developing computational methods to analyse and improve prostate cancer care using AI, machine learning, statistics, digital pathology, and real-world clinical data.
His PhD research revolves around machine learning and statistical models for profiling prostate cancer and predicting clinical outcomes, with the broader aim of reducing unnecessary treatment and overdiagnosis.
I’m mainly interested in:
- Machine learning and statistics for science and healthcare.
- Supervised/Unsupervised learning (multi)models.
- Data acquisition, curation, and model validation.
